On September, 2015 President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Fortov will visit NAS of Belarus. As RAS President, it will be his first visit to the NAS of Belarus. The purpose of the visit is to participate in the 8th International Scientific Conference “Plasma Physics and Plasma Technologies”, make a report and hold negotiations with the leaders of the NAS of Belarus about the mechanisms and prospects of scientific-technical cooperation. RAS President will meet with Chairman of Presidium NASB Vladimir Gusakov and leading researchers of the NASB as well as attend the permanent exhibition “Achievements of national science applied for production” and the NASB History Museum.
The 8th International Conference “Plasma Physics and Plasma Technology” is organized by the NASB Institute of Physics. The conference is held in Minsk on September 14-18, 2015. The subject matter of the Conference covers all the basic aspects of plasma physics and its technological application in a variety of fields, including industry, medicine, biology, environmental protection problems etc. The conference will involve the leading scientists of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, India and other countries.
