Before the Belarusian Science Day polar explorers established the first object of the Belarusian Antarctic station - three-section laboratory and living module. This was reported to the NASB leadership by the head of the Belarusian Antarctic Expedition Alexei Gaidashov. The personnel of BAS finished engineering activities for the commissioning of the first object of the Belarusian Antarctic station and proceeded to carry out research programs. Three-section specialized module is built to provide decent living and research conditions in the place of our expedition location in East Antarctica.
On behalf of the participants of the 8th Belarusian Antarctic Expedition the head of the expedition Alexei Gaidashov sent congratulations to the staff of the NAS of Belarus and all the scientists of the Republic of Belarus on the Belarusian Science Day.
