The Protocol noted that during the visit there was an active and detailed discussion of current interaction between the parties, as well as activities to promote cooperation in the short and medium term have been identified.
Following the results of the visit the parties agreed to take all the necessary measures to open up new levels of cooperation between scientific organizations. As priority areas for cooperation in the near future the parties have identified the following areas: biotechnology, including the interaction between the Botanical gardens, cell technology, plant biology, identification of human DNA, the immune system; organization of work in the framework of Technopark BelBiograd; energy; nanoscience, nanotechnologies, new materials; Social sciences; Physics: from science to manufacturing; transport technology; aerospace technology; technology for determining the quality and promotion of products. Besides, the Indonesian side in the near future will examine the possibility of initiating programs for training of scientific personnel of higher qualification on the basis of the NASB organizations.
