Belarusian Prime Minister Andrey Kobyakov presented state awards to outstanding Belarusian workers. All in all, the Head of Government presented state awards to some 50 outstanding Belarusians on 1 June. Special thanks Andrei Kobyakov expressed to teachers and scholars, who also received state awards. "You are making a great contribution to the development of science, the development of innovative economy, knowledge-based economy, training the younger generation" — the Prime Minister stressed.

The Medal of Francysk Skaryna was awarded to the Director of the Institute of history of the NAS of Belarus Vyacheslav Danilovich and the Director of the Institute of philosophy of the NAS of Belarus Anatoly Lazarevich.
