On June 16, 2016 a meeting of Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov with a delegation of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences headed by the Director of the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development Wan Dunyang took place in the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The parties held talks on prospects of cooperation and mechanisms for their implementation. Vladimir Gusakov invited colleagues from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Corporation CAMCE to participate in projects of a new technopark "Belbiograd".

The delegation will discuss specific details of the cooperation during the visit of the SSI "The Central Botanic Garden of the NAS of Belarus," RSSUE "The Institute for Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the NAS of Belarus," RUE “The Scientific and Practical Center for Foodstuffs”.

Also on the outcomes of delegation work in Belarus it is planned to sign a protocol of intentions.

Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is a state research body that carries out the tasks of fundamental and applied research in the agricultural sector. Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences contains 39 research institutes, including 16 institutions involved in research in the field of plant breeding, 10 institutions — in the field of selection, 8 institutions — in the field of economic and natural resources, 5 institutes — in the field of high technologies. There are 6 thousand scientists in the staff of the Academy.
