On September 22, 2016 negotiations between the Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov and the Ambassador of Italian Republic in Republic of Belarus Stefano Bianchi were held at the NAS of Belarus. The discussions focused on expanding scientific cooperation between Belarus and Italy, as well as on work on a new project, namely the Italian-Belarusian dictionary. The Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov emphasized at the meeting that creation of the Italian-Belarusian Dictionary would be a landmark project for the countries and it would be developed in various areas of cooperation. A list of promising areas of mutual interests aimed to broaden the Belarusian-Italian cooperation is to be drawn up.
