On 24 May 2017 (Wednesday), the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Mongolian Academy of Sciences will sign a Cooperation Agreement. On 22-26 May 2017, the President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences Dugar Regdel is visiting the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. This is the first visit of the Head of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences to the Republic of Belarus. Dugar Regdel arrived in Minsk at the invitation of the leadership of the NAS of Belarus. The main purpose of the visit is to hold talks with the leadership of the NAS of Belarus on promising areas of cooperation in the field of science and technologies, and to sign the Agreement on Cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.

The President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences is supposed to visit the following scientific institutions of the NAS of Belarus: the Institute of Microbiology, the Institute for Nature Management, the Scientific and Practical Center for Arable Farming, the Institute of Physical Organic Chemistry, the Institute of Genetics and Cytology, the Central Botanical Garden, the Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering, and the V. F. Kuprevich Institute of Experimental Botany.
