The focus was on the expansion of scientific cooperation between Belarus and Moldova. As the Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov emphasized at the meeting, the Belarusian side would like to establish closer ties with scientific organizations of Moldova and work on the widest range of directions. In turn, Gheorghe Duca, the President of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, noted that the Academies of Sciences of Belarus and Moldova should revise the Cooperation Agreement of 2003, taking into account current realities and requirements. In order to expand the Belarusian-Moldovan cooperation, a list of promising areas of mutual interest will be drawn up.
President of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova Gheorghe Duca awarded the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov with the Silver Medal of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
