On 14 June 2017, I.S.Lupinovich Belarusian Agricultural Library of the NAS of Belarus invites to participate in a seminar on scientific and technical information in the database "ProQuest Dissertation and Theses Global". The seminar is for a wide range of users, namely scientists and specialists of scientific organizations, university staff and teachers, postgraduate students, and other interested persons.

The seminar is organized by the I.S.Lupinovich Belarusian Agricultural Library of the NAS of Belarus and the ProQuest Company.

It will be held at the Belarusian Agricultural Library (Minsk, vul. Kazinca 86, building 2, conference hall) on June 14, 2017 (Wednesday) from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Anna Trifonova, ProQuest Regional Projects Manager, will be a moderator of the seminar.

The seminar will examine the thematic fullness and functionality of the world's largest database of dissertations, possibilities of its use in scientific activities, and copyright issues; search opportunities and advantages of advanced search tools, indexes, and thesauruses, multifaceted navigation on subject headings of the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses will be demonstrated; issues of inclusion of Belarusian scientists dissertations in the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global database (requirements for registration, conditions and variants of placement, etc.) will be discussed in details.
