Kaluga Region Governor Anatoly Artamonov, Kliment the Metropolitan of Kaluga and Borovsk, the Chairman of Russian Federation Federal Assembly of State Duma on development of civil society, public and religious organizations Sergey Gavrilov, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Department of Russian Federation Igor Mozgo, MPs and clergy, scientists and journalists from 25 countries neighbouring countries and beyond took part in the forum.
Director of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Belarus Igor Kotliarov presented the report focused on significant role of Orthodox Church in solving problems of the Belarusian society and purposeful work on human moral values formation. Joining the efforts of church and public helps to preserve and increase the heritage of previous generations, to maintain stability in society, stressed the reporter.
The participants discussed the problems of inequality and confrontation in the modern world, as well as the preservation of stability. During the conference Professor Igor Kotlyarov met the participants and discussed further cooperation, joint activities, invited them to scientific forums held at the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Belarus this year.
