On 18 September 2018, a meeting with a delegation from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) under the leadership of Vice President of the CASS, academician, Professor Li Peiling took place in the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The First Vice Chairman of the NASB Presidium Sergei Chizhik welcomed the guests and expressed interest in expanding and deepening further Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in the humanities.

Besides on this day, The Institute of Philosophy of the NAS of Belarus held an international scientific and practical conference "Social management in Belarus and China: experience and development trends." Representatives of the CASS scientific organizations, institutes of philosophy, sociology and economy of the NAS of Belarus discussed the problems of cooperation between China and Belarus, production, consumption and distribution of income, intellectualization of management processes in modern society, and other issues of economic and social development of the 2 countries.
