On 24-26 October 2018, the State Scientific Institution V.F.Kuprevich Institute of Experimental Botany of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will hold the 9th International Scientific Conference on Regulation of Plant Growth, Development and Productivity.

The conference is organized to discuss important scientific and practical issues of substantiation of ways to maximize the potential of plants and form economically valuable part of the crop and look into mechanisms of resistance to adverse environmental factors at the molecular, cellular, organismic and cenotic levels.

The conference is scheduled to consider the following problems:

growth, development and productivity of plants, plant communities and artificial agro-ecosystems;

photosynthesis, respiration, mineral nutrition and water metabolism of plants, signaling systems of higher plants cells;

stress and adaptation in plants; increasing their resistance with the help of physiologically active substances and biotechnological techniques.

124 people registered to participate in the conference. They represent research institutions, universities and biotechnology centers from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Germany, Serbia, Tajikistan, and Iran.
