On 31 January 2019, according to the established tradition, the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus held a meeting with academicians, where some preliminary results of the NASB scientific work were announced, and various awards were presented.

Academician Vladimir Gusakov, Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus, welcomed the participants of the meeting. He also made a short historical excursion on the development of science in our country, mentioned the most vivid names and events.

"Your results and achievements are worthy of the highest praise. Doing your job you proved that science represents inexhaustible possibilities on the path to intellectual and spiritual wealth,” said Vladimir Gusakov addressing the academicians.

The Chief Scientific Secretary of the NAS of Belarus, Academician Alexander Kilchevsky announced some scientific results of the NASB organizations.
