Asymptotic behaviour of orthogonal polynomials corresponding to Sobolev inner product. pp. 23--29

Summary: Let {mn}n³0 be a sequence of the nonnegative integers so that equality limn®µmn/n=l>0 holds. There are given finite positive absolutely continuous measures ®s1 and s2 supporting on [0,1]. Let (f,g)n=ò 10f(x)g(x)x2mnds1(x) + ò10f'(x)g'(x)2mnds2(x) be Sobolev inner product. The Monic Orthogonal Polynomials {Pn}n³0 with respect to the Sobolev inner product (1) are considered and their asymptotic behaviour are studied.

Fractional integrals and derivatives of H-function. pp. 34--39

Summary: The fractional integro-differentiation of arbitrary complex order for the H-function defined by Mellin -- Barnes integral and generalizing most of special functions is studied. The Riemann -- Liouville fractional integrals and derivatives of H-functions are proved to be also H-functions but of the greater order. In particular, the results obtained give more precisely some of the known relations.

On properties of excited active centres in crystals. pp. 44--48

Summary: The idea about the influence of the excited active centres in the crystals on the distribution and symmetry of the intracrystalline field is proposed and substantiated. It is anticipated that this influence should result in changing the characteristics of the electromagnetic waves radiated by the excited crystal and in their difference from the electromagnetic waves absorbed by the nonexcited crystal. An increase in the effective radius of atoms and ions in the highly excited crystal can lead to the deformation of the crystal lattice and, as a consequence, to changing the optical, electric, mechanical and other macroscopic properties of the crystal as a whole.

Statistical analysis of turbulence from the data of flow speckle-photography. pp. 53--57

Summary: The possibilities of a new diagnostics technique -- speckle-photography -- in the studies of 3D turbulent flows are analyzed. It is shown that statistical characteristics of 3D turbulent flow correlate with statistical characteristics of 2D field of refractive index of the light having passed through the flow. The sensitivity range of the speckle-photography proved to be quite enough for the temperature fluctuations recording.

Summary: Colloidal solution of the copper oxide in organic phase was synthesized by the chemical deposition in two-phase system (octan-water). Dispersity and phase composition of the disperse phase of colloidal solution were analysed by the methods of chemical analysis, electron microscopy, X-ray and IR-spectroscopy. Copper oxide is found to form as a colloidal solution in the organic layer, disperse phase of which consists of the crystal spherical particles of copper oxide (II) of average diameter amounting to 6 nm (s = 0.165).

The effect of host-plant plasmon on adaptability of Puccinia triticina Erikss. pp. 77--81

Summary: The long-term coevolution of leaf rust isolates with wheat intraspecific cytoplasm substitution lines have been studied under laboratory conditions. Triticum aestivum cytoplasm was shown to take part in adaptation of Puccinia triticina Erikss. It manifests itself in selection of more adapted fungus genotypes which arise spontaneously during long pathogen reproductions. The data obtained allow a decision to be made concerning the host-plant plasmon influence on the formation of phytopathogen population structure.

Reciprocal relations between the levels of b-NGF, thyroxin and testosterone in mice blood serum. pp. 82-86

Summary: Blood levels of b-NGF, thyroxin and testosterone in mice were studied to clear up their reciprocal relations. If was found that single injection of thyroxin (1.25 mg/g body weight (BW)) induced a sharp increase in serum NGF while testosterone (5 mg/g BW) failed to produce any significant change during 24 hours-observation. Mice treated with NGF (10 mg/g BW) showed a 2.5-fold elevation of blood serum thyroxin 6 h after injection followed by the recovery of the control value. Testosterone slightly decreased in 6 h after injection and then increased in 12 h and 24 h. Both hormones, though not equally, influenced the content of NGF in the sub-mandibular salivary gland and brain.

Study on morphoses frequency in carp young fishes reared in radiocontaminated ponds. pp. 87--92

Summary: Increased levels of morphoses in carp young fishes reared in the fish farm located in the area with 137Cs contamination density from 1 to 5 Ci/km2 (37-185 kBq/m2) were revealed. Increased frequency of morphoses occurrence was observed in experimental ponds with specific gamma-activity of their bottom sediments from 801 to 3235 Bq/kg in 1988-1990 as compared to morphoses in fish from the control ones (specific gamma-activity of bottom sediments from 52 to 307 Bq/kg). Formation of the regression function for the whole body of evidence over 1988 and 1990 has shown that Y (frequency of fish morphoses) depends on X (fish gamma-activity) in the following way Y = 1.081X0.506. So, an increased amount of fish with morphological malformations in radiocontaminated ponds is due to chronic influence of raised radiation background.

Gametogenesis disturbances in fish induced by chronic ionizing radiation. pp. 93--97

Summary: The paper presents the results of histological analysis of fish oocytes under chronic radio-nuclide environment contamination after Chernobyl accident. The oocyte degenerative alterations (oocytes resorption, changes of oocyte asynchronous growth character, changes of oocyte envelope structure) in the investigated fish (perch, roach, bream as the dominant species) from the water reservoirs under different radionuclide contamination level (Prypiat River, Smerzhov Lake) were identified. It was shown that the alterations are bound up with the radionuclide environment contamination level and radionuclide concentration in fish tissues and organs.

General seismic zoning of the Belarusian and Baltic region. pp. 98--102

Summary: The map of general seismic zoning of the Belarusian and Baltic region was compiled on the basis of the revealed zones of possible earthquake centre emergence (ECE) and evaluation of their seismotectonic potential. Force-seven vibration zones correspond to ECE zones with the magnitude Mmax not below 4.0. The force-seven zones arc isolated all over the Estonia area, in east and southeast Latvia, south-east Lithuania and in Belarus within linear sites adjoining Oshmyany. Severo-Pripyat, and Loev active fractures, as well as the fragment of the submeridionally active zone eastwards Bobruisk. The central part of Belarus within the Minsk ECE zone consisting of 4 subzones is attributed to the area of force-six vibration. The greater portion of Pripyat paleorhift. as well as sites in the east of Belarus within Chashniki and Orsha ECE zones is classified among the above-mentioned areas.

Average chemical composition of crystalline foundation in Belarus. pp. 103--107

Summary: The average chemical composition of the Earth's crust in Belarus was found to correspond to quartz diorite approximating to granodiorite (63.67% as SiO2). The data obtained show a good correlation with previously calculated clarkes of chemical elements in the Earth's crust as a whole. However, these data are representative of some peculiarity of the chemical composition of the regional continental crust that is high in Fe, Sc, Sn, Ba and partly P, Pb, Zr, Y, Yb and La and low in Al, Cr and Ni.

The influence of pulse thermal treatment on thin film properties of anode and thermal zirconium oxides. pp. 117--121

Summary: The article presents the results of study of structural and barrier properties of zirconium dioxide thin films on the Si substrates. The influence of pulse thermal treatment on these properties was investigated. X-ray diffractometry. Auger-electron microscopy and Second ion mass spectrometry methods were applied in these experiments. ZrO2 thin films were obtained by thermal oxidation and electrochemical anodization of Zr thin films. High temperature pulse treatment causes zirconia thin film structure ordering. The formed ZrO2 thin films are cubic, dense and uniform in depth. Such films prevent the Si atoms diffusion from substrate to upper layers. The texture degree of the formed zirconia thin films is up to 100%.
