Swell of thermally sensitive poly-N-isopropylacrylamidic hydrogels in water-organic media. pp. 46--49.
Summary: It is found that, as the ratio of components in the temperature field lower that LCST of P-N-IPAA changes, reentrant phase transition is observed in the mixtures of water with ethanol, prophan-1-ol, prophan-2-ol, ethyleneglycol, butan-1,3-diol, butan-1,4-diol, except for water--glycerol one. In water--glycerol mixtures the gel undergoes a discontinuous collapsing. 10--20% additives of all the studied solvents and mainly glycerol were demonstrated to reduce the temperature of the phase transition. The largest reduction of the phase transition temperature correlates with the essential difference between solubility parameters of P-N-IPAA and glycerol.

Comprative estimation of influence of solvatophobic ettects on nonexchange sorption of some organic electrolytes by carboxylic ion-exchangers from water-ethanol solutions. pp. 50--54.
Summary: Molecular sorption of three organic electrolytes by two carboxylic ion-exchangers from a binary system water-ethanol in a wide range of composition has been investigated. It is established that in all cases at N2 (0.3 (N2 -- molar fraction of ethanol) the sorption equilibrium is displaced to direction of the binary solution, what is explained by microscopical demixture of the binary solution and interaction of hydrophobic radicals of electrolytes with hydrophobic microphase of the binary solution.

Synthesis and immunotropic activity of prostanoids containing heterocyclic and carbocyclic fragments in w-chain. pp. 55--59.
Summary: To estimate structure-function relationships as well as to find promising immunomodulators among synthetic prostaglndin analogoes, we studied immunotropic activities of a number of new synthesized prostanoids containing hetero- and carbocyclic fragments in w-chain.
It was revealed that most of the studied compounds, administrated at saturation doses (1--5 µ g/kg) per os, stimulated humoral immunity in CBA mice immunized with sheep red blood cells (SRBS) (1.5 107 SRBC per a mouse intraperitoneally).
The largest immunoenhancing activity was displayed by the compound characterized by the presense of 13-oxo-15-hydroxy, 15-pyridilic fragment in w-chain combined with native carbmcthoxialcylic w-chain. This compound induced 2.5-fold increase in antibody-cell accumulation in the spleen of the immunized animals.

Optimization of the chloramine T method for radioiodinalion of prostatic acid phosphatase. pp. 60--62.
Summary: Optimal conditions tor preparation of |125I|-labelled human prostatic acid phosphatasc (PAP) by chloraminc T method were developed, which make it possible to increase the radiochemical yield and immunorcactivity of labelled PAP. The influence of buffer systems, pH of reaction mixture and molarity of borate buffer was investigated. Iodination in 0.2 M borate buffer, pH 8.0 make it possible to prepare |125I|-PAP with 90-98% immunorcactivity. Under storage of labelled PAP during 2 month immunorcactivity is decreased only by 10%. On the base of prepared |125I|-PAP high-sensitive competitive radioimmunoassay of PAP in human scrum have developed.

A radioimmunological analytical system for thyroid peroxidase determination in biological tissue extracts. pp. 63--67.
Summary: An analytical system for radioimmunological determination of human thyroid peroxidase (TPO) has been developed for the first time. This system includes lyophilised preparations of human autoantibodies to TPO, radioiodinated TPO. standards prepared with the use of pure TPO and immobilized protein A as a solid phase precipitating agent. The specific binding of |125I|TPO in the system accounts for 35-40%, the non-specific binding of the radioactive label do not exceed 5%. TPO is accurately determined in a concentration range 8 to 1000 microgram/l, and the total analysis takes 3 h. The procedure and reagents developed can be applied in a technology of TPO isolation and purification from thyroid tissue extracts, that is intended for immunoanalytical kits production.

Pollution of natural environment by heavy metals in the impact zone of crystal glass production. pp. 98--103.
Summary: Crystal glass production is responsible for 1/4 of total lead emission in Belarus. In the article results of landscape-geochemical investigations in the impact zone of the Neman Crystal Glass Plant (Berezovka) which have produced lead crystal glass about 100 years are discussed. It was established, that in this zone heterogeneous landscape-geochemical polyelemental anomaly developed. In the association lead and zinc are of first priority. Anomaly is revealed in the atmospheric air, surface and ground waters, soils and vegetation. It is displayed differently in various components. So in air and vegetation pollution is revealed up to 1.5 km from the source, soil pollution most distinct on the distance up to 0.5 km. High level of ground waters pollution is determined on the sites adjacent to the plant territory and to waste water treatment facilities. Data on heavy metals accumulation in aerosol emission and main components of the environment are given.

The laws of migration of zinc. chrome and iron from Biological sewage sludge (BSS) are established. The total emissions of organic substances, ammonia and hydrogen sulfide in the atmosphere at the BSS storage on the sewage sludge platforms are determined. On the basis of experimental data and analysis of the known approaches to the estimation of ecological consequences a technique of the estimation of the sewage sludge platforms influence on the environment is developed.
