Summary: The microstructure evolution of a rapidly cooled Al-5Cu alloy was studied on its annealing (625 K±5 K) by the methods of electron scanning metallography. The driving forces of transformations are a rediction of a surface energy of alpha -- theta', theta (the first annealing stage) and that of a grain boundary energy (the second annealing stage).

Оценка мощности двигателя механического привода. pp. 23--29

Summary: The method of defining of required power of induction motor for driving aggregate with variable load, velocity and inertia values is proposed. The scheme of rigid drive with ideal character of motor, having unlimited power is supposed as a design scheme. The selected motor is checked on overload capacity during speed up and stable motion. As example, the design of motor power for testing of cutting apparatus of mowing machine has been performed. It is shown, that using the spring loader in this drive gives the possibility to decrease the installed power of induction motor by 2.5 times.

Summary: The functional design of a transmission keeps the complex of the algorithm and the program for the dynamic and static calculation, for the calculation of the reliability and the technical-economic index, and is the basis of the design automation. The functional design of the mechanism with hydraulic and mechanical elements consists of the model of elements and of the one of the structure, that give good chans for the design automation.

Summary: The paper deals with the application of system approach aspects to the study of gear dynamics. It has been shown that the transfer function is not constant and depends not only on the intrinsic properties of the gear but on the performanse of a higher order system including the gear itself. On the basis of the experimental research done with a computer-aided system, dependences proving theoretical assumptions were revealed. A dynamic model taking into account presence or absence of the gear selfbreaking is described in the paper.

Summary: Magnetic shimm for the permanent magnet P8 NMR-tomograph was calculated. In the volume having radius 180 mm the shimm reduces magnetic field inhomogeneity by a factor of 102 (with 2.22 • 10-3 down to 4.46 • (10-5).

Summary: The assessment of the changes of the mean shear rate and blood viscosity in a conventional vessel has made basing on the changes in the blood volume and linear blood flow rate at local heating of a human skin. It is found that viscosity remains approximately constant during one hour after the first 2 -- 3 min of heating at temperatures 40 to 43 °C. The rise of viscosity above its initial value and the scatter of the data for various volunteers is observed at 40 °C. The dependencies of the relative changes of the viscosity on the heating time at 41 and 43 °C are almost the same.
