Summary: Calculations have been made for the polymer materials solidification process of polymer materials under injection molding with melt flow through a mold forming cavity as related to the scale factor and technological regimes. This helps to forecast the process productivity in accordance with its parameters as well as with an account of the unit structural peculiarities and the article material characteristics.

Determination of the composition of optically opaque coatings by the spectrophotometric method. pp. 8--11

Summary: The results obtained from spectral reflection coefficient measurements and the relations steming from the Bouguer--Lamber--Beer law have served as the basis for development of the program to calculate the number of phases and optically opaque coatings formed from vacuum-arc plasma flows. Ion-plasma titanium carbonitride coatings are used as an example to show the agreement between the calculated data and results of the X-ray spectrum analysis.

Summary: The mutual effect of hydrodynamic and heat processes in molding of castings with complicated configuration has been investigated. Mathematical models have been developed, algorithms of solutions have been realized on PC.

Concerning the dynamic loading of a power take-offdrive on regulation of its elastic dissipation capacities. pp. 14--16

Summary: The problems of dynamic loading of tractor's "Belarus" MTZ-80/100 power take off drive are considered. Loading has been evaluated by computer modeling. In result of the performed investigations the torsion shafts with regulated (during operation) elastic dissipation capacities as well as with automatic compliance regulation have been designed.

Reliability of combined metal-cutting tools. pp. 17--23

Summary: A reliability model for metal-cutting systems and tools consisting of independent components is proposed. Methods have been developed and on their basis software has been worked out for determination of reliability characteristics. The examples of calculation of such characteristics for combined tools as well as the recommendations for application of these methods are given for different cases of failure of tool components. It is also proposed to use the software in the self-education systems of metal-cutting tools.

To construction of a self-oscillating system in the working-part drives of machines. pp. 24--29

Summary: The employment of energy recuperators allows more perfect characteristics of oscillating working part's drives to be obtained. The rigidity of spring unload devices (energy recuperators) is determined from natural-frequency oscillation conditions of working parts. The stability of steady-state oscillations of drives has been investigated. It is shown that the constructed oscillation system is self-sustained with respect to all its properties.

Prospects of using the vacuum-plasma technologies in mechanical engineering and instrument making. pp. 30--38

Summary: The physical and technological features of vacuum-plasma technologies are discussed. It is shown that vacuum-plasma deposited coatings possess-higher adhesion to a substrate and structure quality then those manufactured by different surface treatment technologies. The classification of vacuum-plasma coating materials used in present-day machine engineering and tool manufacture are fiven. New applications of vacuum-plasma surface treatment technologies of tools, wearing parts and high-temperature technology parts are analysed.

Computer-aided simulation of hot die forging. pp. 39--42

Summary: The possibilities and prospects of application of the computer-aided simulation of the forging process are discussed. The system FORM-2D is used for simulation of closed die forging of cylindrical steel-45 billets with different reheat temperatures and different height-to-diameter ratios.

Calculation of high-speed shaping of a sheath fixed over a complicated contour. pp. 43--47

Summary: The method is suggested to calculate the deformation process of a thin-sheet workpiece fixed over its contour under the action of a pulse pressure. The mode] developed allows calculations of technological parameters for forming complex-contour sheet workpieces.

On compensation of heat-induced changes in the dimensions of a shaping die in the band--die system. pp. 48--50

Summary: Consideration is given to the solution that takes into account the heating effect on the dimensions of shaping dies during their operation and suggests the compensation of changes in the dimensions by tensioning in a band--die system.

Controlled water-air hardening of hammer dies. pp. 51--57

Summary: An analysis of the requirements for hardening media has revealed that among those the water-air mixture is the cheapest, most technologically effective and ecologically pure. A new technology of controlled hardening of moderate-size and large hammer dies involving furnace heating and hardening cooling by the controlled water-air mixture has been created and adopted at the Minsk automobile plant. Use of the new technology ensures saving of mineral oil, natural gas, electric power and a 1.5--3.0-fold increase of the service life of dies.

Optimization of the number of check points in coordinate measurements of the geometric parameters of holes. pp. 58--60

Summary: In coordinate measurements the real profile of a controlled section is replaced by its discrete model constructed using the limited number of coordinate points. As a result, a methodical measurement error appears which is connected with the possible loss of the points belonging to the extreme radii-vectors of the controlled section. Based on theoretical and experimental studies, a relation is obtained that determines the minimum necessary number of check points at the prescribed methodical measurement error and confidence level. It is established that the minimum of check points does not depend on the real form of a profile and its nominal diameter.

Summary: Based on the model heat parameters of the transient aluminium melt -- 3d-nucleus zone it is shown that change in a degree of filling has two extrema related with the d5- and d10-states.

Summary: Investigation has been made of 21 normalized transmission characteristics of transmission signal tracts with zero-ordersensitivity to variation of parameters.

Summary: Models of representation of knowledges as a semantic polygon are considered. Abstract elementary, functional, mobile objects of the semantic polygon are considered. A method to describe and analyse the processes on the semantic polygon, based on use of time-digital functions is offered, solutions of the problem of synchronization of the processes, search for cycles and their characteristics are obtained.

Automation of manufacture of pattern stamps and tools. pp. 84--90

Summary: Mathematical models are created for automation of processing the graphic information, processes of marking of objects and manufacture of pattern stamps and tools which ensure an increase of the speed of response of a system. Upon disturbance of a drop jet by a signal, containing a spectrum of harmonics with the certain ratio of the initial amplitudes, frequencies and phases based on the Fourier, a generator of periodic groups of drops with controlled diameters, amount of drops in a group, intervals between them and flight speeds was designed.

Summary: The article is devoted to methods of using new information technologies in realization of a computing experiment in science, technology and education. The structural scheme of a technological cycle of the computing experiment using the computer mathematics system is completely developed and analysed.

Comparative analysis of hydraulic volume transmissions of transport facilities. pp. 106--111

Summary: The construction principles of hydraulic volume transmissions are considered. The causes of disadvantages of the transmissions based on the variable-capacity pumps and non-controllable hydraulic motors are revealed. It is shown that the car transmissions should be preferably constructed using the non-controllable hydraulic pumps and motors with an automatically working volume.

Summary: It is shown that a new base system of the elasticity problem in terms of stresses suggested by Pobedrya B. E. is not complete without the equations of equilibrium.

Investigation of the influence of different factors on thickening of the excess active silt by the pressure floation method. pp. 115--118

Summary: On the basis of experimental data influence is found out sets of technology factors on concentration of dry substance thickening activated sludge. The mathematical formula is resulted describing interdependence of a number of technology factors. Mutually dependent the factors are excluded from the further analysis. The empirical formula as the sedate multimember, is received describing dependence of concentration of dry substance thickening activated sludge from the staying factors.

The passage probability method as applied for description of neutron weakening in biological protection. pp. 129--136

Summary: The possibility of using the transmission probability method for description of neutron-flux attenuation in the biological shielding has been studied. The algorithm description has been given to determine fluxes considering the anisotropy of surface fluxes at the layer boundaries and corresponding 95-RITM group program. The program efficiency is exemplified by the calculation of 60Co-activity and fast flux distributions in the biological shielding of the first assembly of the Armenian APS.

Prediction of the radiation situation at the using activity "Ukrytie". pp. 137--141

Summary: The results of prediction of the radiation conditions and damage due to fire at the unit-IV of the ChNNP are analysed. The distributions of the expected equivalent dose in the case of accidental releases of radionuclides as well as plutonium and other fission products are obtained. Some after-effects of these accidents for the Belarusian lands have been studied.
