System of social help and its reforming in the Republic of Belarus. pp. 15--19

Summary: The main aim of this article is to highlight and systematize the basic drawbacks of the existing system of social help which have led to the necessity of its reforming. In this article, firstly, the situation in which it is necessary to reform social helps is analyzed; secondly, the basic directions of this reforming are determined; thirdly, the allocation of the most disadvantageous group consisting of large families, incomplete families with children, the families which have landicapped children or look after the elderly is made. Two important principles of state policy in the sphere of employment are featured: the equal responsibility of the state and a citizen to have a job providing a decent way of living; the maintenance of a free redistribution of citizens between different spheres of work, the increase of branch and professional mobility of labor force.

Summary: The competence of the authorities of different branches of power in creating the legal regulations in the Republic of Belarus is dwelt on. The competence of the President of the Republic, National Assembly, Council of Ministers and executive bodies, Constitutional Court, Plenums of the Supreme and Higher Economic Courts in publication of the regulative legal acts is analysed.

Right of labour contract parties on works created by employees. pp. 27--30

Summary: Two kinds of problems are usually connected with a category of works created by employees: a definition of criteria of reference of works to those created by employees, and an establishment of a person who posesses rights on such results of intellectual activity. Different legal problems arising at the junction of regulations of labor law and copyright are considered. First of all, the article is devoted to the investigation of the essence of copyright objects created by employees. In addition, the analysis of public relations arising at the creation of works of literature, science and art by employees and also at the distribution of rights to them, and their legal regulation are investigated in the article.

New literature situation: gender factor. pp. 84--89

Summary: The state of the feminism discourse has been analysed in the Belarusian literature. The women prose, which had been written after 1989, has been researched. On the study of work of M. Rovda, E. Veshnovets, J. Gapejeva it has been concluded that the feminism discourse is passing to the gender discourse.

Structure of Victor Kozko's artistic world. pp. 90--97

Summary: The article is devoted to the creative work of Belarusian prose-writer V. Kozko. He managed to create an original system of the artistic world in his works. To understand the description of the structure of his works it is necessary to analyse the man's attitude towards the nature. The peculiarities of the poetical language, its artistic signs and symbols are analysed in this publication. The basic signs that make up the foundation of the poetical language are: 'man', 'nature', 'earth', 'space','time','sun','death' , etc. Investigating the artistic system of Kozko's writings we see such structural elements as a semantic row of the earth: soil-clay-sand-dust: sound row: song-chorus-sound; the symbolism of the landscape: hollow- pit-shell- hole- trench-entrenchment-ditch; the condition of existence: tiredness -- dream- death and other important peculiarities of Kozko's poetical language.

Reflection of the specific features of the culture in a text in the translations of literary works. pp. 98--102

Summary: The general theoretical issues of literary work translation are discussed in this article by the example of the English and Belarusian languages. Comparative analysis of language data and its literary tradition is made. Also, the problem of "intrans-latability" is raised and the main positions of the accepted translating system are discussed. The issue of the translation of the cultural specific features of a text is distinguished as one of most vital at the moment.

Ecological book: from old Greek scientist acquirements to Russian editions of XIX century. pp. 103--110

Summary: This article is devoted to the making of complete imagination about an ecological book like a social and historical event. Its evolution is continuously connected with the social activity transformations. The repertory of the published ecological editions is considered just on the territory of the Russian State in XYIII -- XIX centuries from the typological categories of bibliology.

Dialectical basis and the orthography of "The Story about Maryam" Khasenevich Kitab (1832). pp. 111--117

Summary: The dialectal basis of a text is formed partly by Middle Belarusian and partly by South Western Belarusian patois, the phonetic and phonemic principles in spelling are equally reflected, in some cases they are interwoven. The spelling of the text in Arabic alphabet is influenced by the folk dialectal language as well as the written sources of Slavic origin.

Alternation of consonant phonemes at the junction of the substantive stem and inflections -o, -e(э), -i(ы), -ю. pp. 118--123

Summary: Alternation of consonant phonemes at the junction of substantive stem and inflection are considered from the scope of their positional stipulation, regularity and productivity in the system of the noun word change in the Belarusian language. The positionally non-conditioned, but phonologically and morphonologically conditioned consonant phonemes alternation before the inflections -o, -е(э), -i(ы), -ю have been revealed.
