Some aspects of the genesis of the legal consciousness.
Summary: By the example of the religious and philosophical-and-juridical concepts of the most developed and early found traditions, i. e. old-Indian, ancient-Greek and Roman, some aspects of the genesis of legal consciousness are considered. It is supposed that the important role in the formation of legal consciousness was played by the dichotomy of fas -- "divine" and jus -- "human" law that at a late time became the basis of the concepts of natural and positive interpretation of law. The question is raised about the influence of different doctrines and studies on legal consciousness as a factor of social-and-historical transformation of the society.

Summary: The article is devoted to the problem of the interrelation between rational and irrational in human being. Nowadays in the world culture manifold types of rationalities have already been formed. At the same time we have a right to say that irrational is an integral part of our being and rational perception. Rationality and irrationality in their dialectic unity are the sphere in which all intellectual pursuits are contained potentially, penetrating the many-sided history of human thought and culture.

The basic principles of the activity of financial and credit institutes capable to regulate the processes of financial integration and cooperation in the field of currency and finance relations are determined.

Kiev mission of the Byelorussian Peopels' Republic.
Summary: The history of creation and work of the first permanent Byelorussian Diplomatic representative abroad -- Constant delegation on the BNR external negotiations in Kiev -- is analyzed in the article. In the spring of year 1918 the government of BNR didn't have the possibility of direct contacts with foreign states. In this situation, the Kiev mission of BNR became the main center of the foreign activity of BNR and continued to fulfill this role until November of 1918. The results of this activity were quite poor though the Kiev mission of BNR did not a little in informing the political elites and the peoples of the states of Eastern and central Europe with the essence of the Byelorussian question. It paid great attention to world propaganda of the right of Byelorussian people to National State self-determination and existence. The experience of the Kiev mission work was (used by the foreign diplomatic representatives of BNR in the subsequent years.

Yu. Beck and the foreign policy of equilibrium II Rzhech Pospolita in 1932-1939. pp. 56--63
Summary: In the article the views of the Polish and Western researchers on the main lines of the Polish foreign policy in 1932--1939 have been analysed. The personality of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Yu. Beck, being a follower of the policy of equilibrium in the Polish-German-Soviet relations of the 1930s is of the author's particular attention. If the modern historians had considered the real conditions and causes of the political situation in their analysis, Yu. Beck's politics would have been much easier to be qualified as a political fall.

Summary: In the article the questions of establishment and development of the relations between the Republic of Belarus and NATO in the period from 1991 to 1993 are considered. The author analyzes the forms of co-operation between Belarus and the Alliance, the special attention is paid to the questions of disarmament. In the introduction the key changes in the policy of NATO at the beginning of the 90th years of XX century are shown.

Concept of the artistic style in documentary cinema (by the example of Belarusian non-fiction films).
Summary: A new information space of the last decades brought out a problem of a further documentary cinema's fate. Can the documentary cinema survive in these conditions? This task solution is impossible without a certain analysis of modern and former documentary work. At that time a the individual film's style gains vital importance. The analysis of the style is necessary for understanding the reasons and the sense of some changes in art. The Belarusian non-fiction film was not examined as an information-symbolic product created by media. Television appropriated some features of a documentary film. How will this situation transform non-fiction film, which innovations can it adapt? A serious analysis of the evolution of a documentary's style and a review of the role and perspectives of non-fiction films are necessary.

Summary: The article aims to describe the theoretical issues of wedding poetry symbols and their functions. Special attention is given to the views of national and foreign scholars on the meaning of symbols, their origins and role in ethnic culture. The article also looks at the functions of folklore symbols, their interrelation with semantics.

Genesis of the early theatrical forms in ceremony mysteries of the ancient Slav. pp. 83--89
Summary: The article is dedicated to the processes of occurrence of primary elements of theatrical art during realization of calendar rituals of ancient Slav such as Kupalie, Velikden, Koliady. These rituals included the demonstration of mystery-plays with mythological subjects. Such shows were, as a matter of fact, protheatrical forms. There were a through action, elements of transformation of the ceremony participants to mythic heroes, costumes, make-up, masks and other attributes. Steady architypes of plots and characters in the ancient Slav theatrical ceremonies remain actual for theatrical art till now. The main attention is paid to the ritual of the winter solstice and its heroes: Koliada, Santa Claus, Snow-maiden and others.

Summary: In the article the main moments of Dante Alighieri's reception by the Belarusian literary criticism are examined. By the example of the works of M. Bogdanovich, M. Goretski, J. Pushcha, V. Korotkevich, M. Tychina, V. Ragojsha the author makes an attempt to determine the conditionality and the effect of the reference of the Belarusian literary men to the representative of foreign culture.

Sky in the artistic cosmos of Yakub Kolas and Ivan Bunin's early prose. pp. 93--98
Summary: In this article the originality of the artistic personification of the image of the Sky in Yakub Kolas and Ivan Bunin's early prose is investigated, the peculiarities of two semantic paradigms of the image -- Sky physical and Sky ideal, sacral are exposed. The definite differences of the artistic personification of the Sky in the above-mentioned paradigms are conditioned by the mentality of nations, the traditions of national literatures, the world outlook and the aesthetic orientation of the authors. But the traits of the typological unity in the personification of the Sky are more numerous than the differences, especially in its first paradigm.

Summary: In the article the subject of the analysis is the peculiarities of the Belarusian postmodernism as the alternative method of artistic cognition of reality. The differences of Western and Eastern types of postmodern art are defined. The particular attention in the article is given to the consideration of Belarusian postmodernists' creative activities. Besides, there are the views of Belarusian thinkers on the problem of postmodernism, some ideas of modern foreign philosophers and own Belarusian works of art.

Animal names functioning in the contemporary slang of the English language are being analysed in terms of their formal and semantic motivation. Semantically, the motivated zoomorphemes are described as a result of the shift of the semantic components in the meaning.
