A visiting event was held at the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer named after A.V. Lykov based on the results of the “Technology-US” the Union State program

On March 16, 2021, the NAS of Belarus and the National Press Center of the Republic of Belarus held an off-site press event on the results of the implementation of the Union State program “Development of integrated technologies for creating materials, devices and key elements of space vehicles and promising products of other industries (“Technology-US”)”.

The Director of the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer named after A.V. Lykov addressed the representatives of the republican and Union media. “This year we have completed work under the Union State program “Technology-US”. The head organization, the customer on the part of Russia – the corporation “Roscosmos”, on the part of Belarus - the NAS of Belarus. The Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer was the head organization of the Belarusian part of the program. The goal of the program was to develop technical solutions related to reducing the mass and dimensions of elements of devices and systems of rocket and space technology”, said Oleg Penyazkov. During the course of work on the program, the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer successfully fulfilled all its parameters laid down in the terms of reference for the Belarusian part.

The executive director of the “Technology-US” program, the head of the department for the support of scientific and technical programs of the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer Zinaida Parkhomava, the researcher of the laboratory of high-precision surface treatment of the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer Pavel Kumeisha, the head of the laboratory of physics of plasma accelerators of the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer Valantsin Astashynsky and the head of the laboratory of radiation-convection heat exchange Mikalay Scetsyukevich. During the press tour, the journalists visited the structural subdivisions of the institute.
