The session of the General Meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will be held on April 21, 2021. This decision was made by the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus on March 19, 2021.

At the meeting of the Presidium, the order of the day of the session was approved, which included 2 questions: a report on the activities of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in 2020, tasks for 2021, as well as the issue of changing the Rules of the General Meeting and the Regulations on the Branch of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The Chief Scientific Secretary of the NAS of Belarus Andrey Ivanets will report on the first issue. First Deputy of the Presidium, Academician Sergey Chizhik is expected to speak on the second issue.

The branches of the Academy of Sciences were instructed to hold general meetings of the branches from 12 to 21 April 2021 to consider the issues put on the agenda of the session of the General Meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
