The first Technology and Innovation Support Center will be created on the basis of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

On November 18, 2021, an agreement was signed at the NASB between the National Center for Intellectual Property and the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library on the creation of a technology and innovation support center.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology Shumilin A.G., Chief Scientific Secretary of the NASB A.Ivanets, General Director of the National Center for Intellectual Property V.A. Ryabovolov, Director of the Central Scientific Library Yakub Kolas A.I. Grusha and others.

During the meeting, experts from the Center for Intellectual Property spoke to the heads of the Academy's structures for scientific and innovative work, young scientists on topical issues of protection and management of rights to intellectual property.

The international project to create a network of technology and innovation support centers (TISCs), initiated back in 2009 by the World Intellectual Property Organization, is designed to help build the innovative potential of countries and regions by providing information and scientific and methodological support to users of TISC services in the field of scientific, scientific and technical and innovation. Currently, there are fifteen TISCs in Belarus.
