As Vladimir Gusakov noted during the meeting, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus attaches particular importance to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with Iran and highly appreciated the scientific potential of Iranian science. «Currently, a number of treaties, agreements and memorandums have been signed between the scientific institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and scientific organizations and universities of Iran. In particular, within the framework of the agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Islamic Azad University, 16 Iranian scientists completed their studies and defended their Ph.D. But this does not correspond to our real possibilities and prospects for cooperation. It is necessary to have broader ties, to cooperate our joint efforts and work on specific scientific areas and projects», Vladimir Gusakov emphasized.
