The Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences signed a cooperation agreement

Within the framework of the 8th Russian Philosophical Congress «Philosophy in a Polycentric World» (on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of A.A. Zinoviev), an agreement was signed on cooperation in the field of scientific and educational activities between the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The agreement was signed by Anatoly Lazarevich, Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and Academician Abdusalam Huseynov, Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The subject of the Agreement is the cooperation and the establishment of the direct scientific relations between the sides in the field of the research on topical socio-economic, political and cultural-philosophical problems of our time, as well as in educational activities in various areas of philosophical science. The following areas of cooperation have been identified as priorities: development of joint research projects, holding joint scientific conferences, seminars, round tables, preparation of the joint scientific papers, exchange of the specialists for the purpose of scientific internships, lectures and the latest scientific publications.

Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Anatoly Lazarevich took part in the 8th Russian Philosophical Congress «Philosophy in a polycentric world. To the 100th anniversary of the birth of A.A. Zinoviev», which was held on May 26-28, 2022 in Moscow (Russian Federation) at the Lomonosov Moscow State University. The Russian Philosophical Congress is one of the largest events in the philosophical life of not only the Russian Federation, Eastern Europe, but throughout the Eurasian space. The congress brought together about 1500 scientists and specialists in the field of philosophical science, its work unfolded in 24 sections, 15 symposiums, 25 round tables, which cover the entire breadth and diversity of philosophical knowledge at the present stage of its development.
