The Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology (Almaty, Kazakhstan) signed an agreement on scientific cooperation.

The document was signed during an extended meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of History of the NAS of Belarus. The leading researcher of the Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology, Professor Ualtaeva Altyn Slyamkaydarovna made a report «Development of scientifically substantiated conception of the formation of the modern historical science of Kazakhstan». The scientists discussed the general questions of the history of Belarus and Kazakhstan, the necessity to activate the joint research of the significant periods in the history of the statehood of the two countries as well as the existing of the «white spots», and also the possible forms of the direct interaction. The parties exchanged the latest editions of scientific literature.
