On July 13, a delegation of the State Veterinary Service of the Leningrad Region visited the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

During the visit, the members of the delegation got acquainted with the permanent exhibition «Achievements of National Science for Production», after which negotiations were held with the Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus P.P. Kazakevich and the leadership of the Department of Agrarian Sciences. The parties noted the existing potential for the developing of the cooperation and agreed on the supply of veterinary and biological preparations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus to the Leningrad Region of the Russian Federation.

During the visit to the S.N. Vyshelessky Institute of Experimental Veterinary Medicine the delegation was shown the latest developments of Belarusian scientists in this field. The steps for the expanding the joint activities in the near future were also discussed.
