On September 28, 2022 a working meeting was held in Moscow between the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov and the General Director of the State Corporation «Roscosmos» Yuri Borisov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus in Russia Dmitry Krutoy.

During the meeting the parties discussed the current areas of space cooperation between Belarus and Russia. In particular, agreements were reached to promote a joint project in manned cosmonautics and to create a Russian-Belarusian spacecraft of very high resolution and a Russian-Belarusian space system on its basis. The parties expressed the conviction of the necessity and significance of the further strengthening of cooperation in the space industry and noted the importance of agreements to expand mutually beneficial partnership reached during the meeting.
