On September 28, 2022 the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov took part in the Russian-Belarusian expert and media forum «Industrial and technological cooperation between Russia and Belarus. Science. Space. Education» in Moscow, organized by the Standing Committee of the Union State on the platform of the press center of the MIA «Russia Today» with the participation of the representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in the videoconferencing mode.

Vladimir Gusakov delivered his report «Interaction of Belarus and Russia within the framework of scientific and technical programs of the Union State in the field of research and use of the outer space for the peaceful purposes». He noted that today the results of many years of the fruitful joint activities of the Belarusian and Russian scientists and specialists in the implementation of the scientific and technical programs of the Union State are highly appreciated. Over many years of cooperation there has been a stable Belarusian-Russian scientific, technical and production cooperation in the space sphere.

The participants of the discussion discussed the results achieved as well as the perspectives and existing problems at the current stage of the Union State construction. The event was moderated by State Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev.
