The new composition of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has been approved. The corresponding decree No. 376 was signed by the Head of state Alexander Lukashenko.

The newly appointed Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences, the Academician-Secretaries of the Departments of Biological, Medical, Physical and Technical Sciences, the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics of the Academy of Sciences, the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences were included in the Presidium.

The renewal of the composition of the NAS Presidium is aimed at increasing the efficiency of decisions made on the development of scientific, technical and innovative activities, domestic scientific schools, and the creative potential of young scientists.
