On October 27, 2022, with the participation of the Heads of organizations, the main question was considered – how the organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus fulfilled the indicators of the forecast of the socio-economic development for 9 months of this year.

Head of the Main Planning and Financial Department of the Office of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Nadezhda Stepanova noted in her report that in general for the NAS of Belarus for 9 months of 2022, the planned indicators and target indicators were met.

The total amount of work performed by organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in January-September 2022 amounted to 710.1 million rubles, 115.1% of the plan for the reporting period, or 125.8% of January-September 2021.

The Heads of the Departments of Sciences reported on how the organizations specifically worked, what scientific results have been achieved, what problems exist and how the pressing issues will be resolved.

Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov once again drew the directors' attention to the fact that today they have to work in the difficult conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the activities of the organizations in all areas. The Chairman of the Presidium drew the attention of the leaders that each organization should have a production facility or a production site. In the modern conditions, the institutions themselves must be able to earn money. This is the requirement of the time. The Head of the Academy of Sciences noted that today the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus should have bright developments of a breakthrough nature, significant scientific results.
