On November 28, 2022, at a meeting, Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov presented special badges «Day of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus»* to a large group of scientists.

Among those awarded special badges were members of the Bureau of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, heads of organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, leading scientists who have made a significant contribution to the development of Belarusian science and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

*A special badge «Day of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus» was made in connection with the announcement of a historic date for the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus – October 13 – the date of foundation of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. On this day in 1928, the Institute of Belarusian Culture, the first comprehensive state research institution in the history of Belarus, was reorganized into the Belarusian Academy of Sciences (since 1997 – the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus).
