On December 7, 2022, a delegation of the Karelian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences headed by Director General Olga Nikolaevna Bakhmet visited the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Negotiations were held with the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. During the meeting, Cooperation Agreements were signed between the Karelian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences with the Polessky Agrarian-Ecological Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Center for the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Researches of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The guests got acquainted with the latest developments of scientists at the permanent exhibition of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus «Achievements of National Science for Production». The delegation of the Karelian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences will also visit a number of organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus to discuss specific projects for joint implementation.
