On December 21, 2022, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus held a solemn awarding ceremony for the winners of the Republican Contest of Creative Works dedicated to the Year of Historical Memory. The authors of the best works received awards, diplomas and memorable prizes.

The competent jury, which included leading scientists of the Academy of Sciences, summed up the results of the Republican competition. The winners were 240 works.

All submitted materials that passed the competitive selection (411 works) were distributed according to the nominations. 108 winners were determined in the nomination The Great Patriotic War in the Memory of My Family, 16 winners in the nomination The Most Significant Events in the History of the Belarusian Statehood, 44 winners in the nomination Outstanding Personalities of the Belarusian Land, 25 winners in the Beauty of the Native Land, 17 winners in the Songs of our Motherland, 16 winners in the nomination Language of My Land (Local Dialects, Geographical Names, Personal Names), and 14 winners in the Culture and Household Activities of the Belarusian People.

The contestants from different regions of Belarus took part in the competition, which indicates a significant attention to the history of our country. In total, about a thousand people took part in the competition.
