On December 23, 2022, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the People's Republic of China, a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony was held between the Northwestern University of Agriculture and Forestry (PRC) and the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The memorandum was signed by the rector of the Northwestern University of Agriculture and Forestry Wu Pute and the rector of the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Marat G. Zhilinsky. The main purpose of the Agreement is to support cooperation on both sides in the field of science, technology and education, as well as obtaining new knowledge, creating innovative products and providing services in the field of science, technology and education in the field of agriculture and forestry.
