On December 22, 2022, the Center for the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Researches of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus organized a festive scientific and practical seminar Christmas Miracles: Legends and Fairy Tales at the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library.

The guests of the event not only have learned about the traditions of Christmas from the scientific reports of leading Belarusian specialists, but also have seen a real batleyka, listened to the famous authentic performer A. Galkovsky, they have taken part in a master class on making a Christmas straw spider themselves. The music chapel of the Center has prepared an interactive lecture-concert An Angel has Arrived at Christmas. The listeners had the opportunity not only to get interesting information, listen to music, but also to join in the performance of Christmas singing themselves. The festive atmosphere was supported by the exhibition The Light of The Bethlehem Star from the funds of the Museum of Ancient Belarusian Culture.
