On February 14, 2023, at 15:00, a scientific and practical seminar The Contribution of Women Scientists to The Development of Scientific Knowledge will be held, the purpose of which is to actualize the importance of women's participation in the production of scientific knowledge in various branches of science. The seminar is timed to coincide with the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

On February 11, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, established by the resolution of the UN General Assembly of December 22, 2015, is celebrated annually since 2016. Conducting scientific and educational events dedicated to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science is a significant resource for popularizing the contribution of women scientists to the development of fundamental and applied domestic science.
