Belarusian Women's Union holds a seminar Interaction of Science and Entrepreneurship as a Source of Growth and Strengthening of The Modern Economy

The primary organizations of the Belarusian Women's Union of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and OOO Magic of Light held a seminar Interaction of Science and Entrepreneurship as a Source of Growth and Strengthening of The Modern Economy on the basis of the production site.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Pershamajski district of Minsk organization of the Belarusian Women's Union Ekaterina A. Petrutskaya, young scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and the seminar was headed by the founder of protective artistic holography in the Republic of Belarus, the creator of two science-intensive, high-tech enterprises, one of which is OOO Magic of Light, Academician of the International Engineering Academy, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Honored Inventor of the Republic of Belarus Leonid V. Tanin.

OOO Magic of Light is a one-of-a-kind enterprise, the main activity of which is the production of artistic holograms and holographic means of protecting consumer goods. A tour of this enterprise was organized for the participants of the seminar. A dynamic hologram (a kind of microfilm) of a girl blowing a kiss was presented in the showroom.

The deputy director of OOO Magic of Light Sergei N. Ginak told about the basic principles of holography and the physical laws underlying it, and also demonstrated the process of obtaining a hologram on a laboratory sample of a mobile installation for recording holograms. All stages of recording a hologram are demonstrated: from laser tuning and installation of the recording object to the displaying of the recorded object and obtaining a hologram. Then the participants moved to the laboratory where industrial recording of holograms is made: from relatively simple, small size to unique large-format, optical table for recording holograms larger than 2x4 m, designed and manufactured by specialists of the enterprise. The evolution of lasers used for recording holograms was also clearly shown: from bulky helium-neon to the most modern miniature ones with diode pumping.

Thus, the participants were able to plunge into the atmosphere of the holographic process. The issues of creating holograms of virtual objects using computer modeling, creating color holograms, using high-resolution photoresists and photopolymer materials for holography, and a number of other scientific and technological areas were discussed.
