On October 12, 2023, the Institute of Physiology of the NAS of Belarus celebrated its 70th anniversary! Scientists of the leading scientific academic and medical centers of Belarus and Russia gathered at the anniversary conference Fundamental and Applied Sciences for Medicine. The conference was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus, Academician Alexander V. Kilchevsky, promising areas of research and development of the Institute were presented by Academic Secretary of the Department of Medical Sciences, Professor Vasiliy G. Bogdan. Academician Vladimir A. Kulchitsky told about the historical stages of the formation of the Institute and its achievements. The conference program includes reports in the field of neurophysiology, biological modeling of pathological processes, space medicine, artificial intelligence, medical additive technologies.

Honorary diplomas of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus were awarded to the staff of the Institute of Physiology, Scientific Secretary T. A. Khrustalyova and Head of the Laboratory of Nutrition and Sports Physiology T. B. Melik-Kasumov. Diplomas of the Department of Medical Sciences, the Department of Biological Sciences were awarded to employees of the Institute, Commendations were awarded to the veterans whose career in the organization counts 50 years or more.
