To determine the above-mentioned indicators of physical development of a child, the Institute of Biochemistry of Biologically Active Compounds of the NAS of Belarus, together with the Department of Medical Sciences of the NAS of Belarus and Bellakt Company, developed the first domestic interactive calculator of physical development and nutrition of a child. The calculator allows you to estimate the weight, height and body mass index of a child, according to age, up to the day, to choose a food product in case of breast milk deficiency in a nursing mother, taking into account the absence or presence of digestive disorders in an infant (basic, preventive, curative), to create an individual calendar for the introduction of complementary foods during breastfeeding and artificial feeding.
An interactive calculator for the physical development and nutrition of a child of the first year of life allows you to select products from a domestic manufacturer of milk mixtures for both a healthy child and in the presence of deviations in physical development indicators, sensitization or increased needs, indicating use only as prescribed by a pediatrician. The structure of the calculator provides recommendations for breastfeeding mothers to support breastfeeding and information about products to provide additional needs for a woman during breastfeeding. Unlike simplified tables, this calculator provides a comprehensive assessment in strict accordance with the parameters and age of the child. The ranges of values, methods and recommendations are based on methodological materials developed by the World Health Organization, the Ministries of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, the manufacturer of the products.
