On July 17, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko visited archaeological excavations on the territory of the ancient city on the Mienka River. The complex was also visited by Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanets, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Anatoly Markevich, Academician-Secretary of the Department of Humanities and Arts of the NAS of Belarus Alexander Kovalenya, chairmen of the Minsk Rajon Executive Committee and the Minsk Rajon Council of Deputies, representatives of the Minsk Voblasc Executive Committee.
During the visit, Vadim Lakiza, Director of the Institute of History, and Andrey Voitekhovich, Head of the Department of Archaeology of the Middle Ages and Modern Era of the Institute of History, spoke about the progress of scientific research, its results, identified artifacts and unique wooden defensive structures, and joint work to popularize the archaeological complex and to add it to the category of museum objects.
