On November 13, 2024, a delegation of the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) headed by Acting ASRT’s President, Prof. Gina El-Feky.

During the meeting of the delegation with Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Uladzimir G. Gusakow, the parties discussed promising areas and mechanisms for the development of cooperation, in particular:

o • formation of a roadmap for the development of cooperation in such areas as electric transport, agricultural mechanization, mechanical engineering, food security, etc.; • ASRT's entry into the International Association of Academies of Sciences; • organization of mutual visits of the NAS of Belarus and ASRT specialists to initiate joint scientific and technical projects; • Master's and postgraduate studies, as well as internships of Egyptian specialists in organizations of the NAS of Belarus, etc.

ASRT's delegation also visited the United Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the NAS of Belarus and the Scientific and Practical Centre of the NAS of Belarus on Food, where they got acquainted with the activities of the organizations, their latest developments and discussed promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
