Based on the results of the 2024 competition, the Bureau of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus decided to approve the list of winners of the Top 10 competition for the results of the activities of scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in the field of fundamental and applied research in 2024.
The winners of the "Top 10" competition for 2024 are:

Karpinski Dzmitryj Uladzimiravich, deputy director general for scientific and innovative work of the Scientific and Practical Centre of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Materials Science, Doctor habilitatus in Physico-Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor; Latushka Siargiej Igaravich, Junior Researcher at the Scientific and Practical Centre of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Materials Science, – for the development of the production technology and theoretical justification of a mechanism for improving the electrical and magnetic properties of electro-ceramic materials based on complex transition metal oxides for microelectronics.

The Top 10 competition of the activities results of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus’s researchers in the field of fundamental and applied research is held annually to reward the most outstanding achievements in the field of fundamental and applied scientific research, which are important for the development of established scientific schools or the formation of scientific directions related to the implementation of priorities of socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus, development of new technological processes, high-tech, competitive products, it is aimed at stimulating the competitiveness and creative activity of scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
