Visiting press event at B. Stepanov Institute of Physics of the NAS of Belarus on cooperation with Russia
On March 26, 2025, the National Press Center of the Republic of Belarus together with the NAS of Belarus held a visiting press event for Belarusian and Union media at B. Stepanov Institute of Physics of the NAS of Belarus. The focus was on joint developments of scientists from Belarus and Russia and scientific programs of the Union State. The press event was timed to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia.
Director of B. Stepanov Institute of Physics of the NAS of Belarus, Academician Sergei Gaponenko, and General Director of the State Scientific and Production Association “Optics, Optoelectronics and Laser Technology” Maxim Bogdanovich spoke about the history of cooperation between Belarusian and Russian scientists, joint scientific projects and joint programs of the Union State.
The press tour participants visited a number of the Institute's research centers that actively cooperate with the Russian Federation: the Laser Technology Testing Center, the Wide-Band Nano- and Microelectronics Center, and the Laser Technology and Engineering Center. The heads and employees of the Centers told the media about the projects they are implementing with their Russian colleagues.
