Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus have announced a competition for Academician V. Koptyug Prize in 2025
Academician Valentin Koptyug Prize is awarded annually for the best joint scientific work, discovery or invention, a series of joint scientific works on a single topic, carried out within the framework of the areas agreed upon in the cooperation agreement between the NAS of Belarus and Siberian Branch of RAS. The awarding of Academician V. Koptyug Prize in 2025 will be carried out by Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences. Joint works completed or published within three years preceding the year of the award may be submitted for the prize. When submitting works, leading authors in a team of no more than 10 people are nominated. Each country must be represented by at least two scientists. The prize amount is equivalent to 500,000 Russian rubles. The monetary part of the prize is divided equally between the co-authors of the work.
The right to nominate candidates for the award is granted to: academicians and corresponding members working at the NAS of Belarus or SB of RAS; academic councils of scientific institutions of the NAS of Belarus and SB of RAS; problematic scientific councils of the NAS of Belarus and the joint academic councils (JAC) of SB of RAS in areas of science. Organizations or individuals who have nominated their work for the award must submit the following documents:
a reasoned presentation, including a scientific description of the work, justification of its significance for the development of science and the national economy;
the original of the published scientific work (series of works), materials of the scientific discovery or invention – in three copies;
information about the authors – Curriculum-vitae – for each.
