Congratulations from Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus, on Constitution Day
Dear colleagues! Dear friends!
On March 15, we traditionally celebrate one of the most important national holidays in our country – Constitution Day. This day has special significance for every Belarusian. It reminds us that it is thanks to our country's Basic Law that we live under constitutional order.
The current Constitution symbolizes the country's sovereignty and exemplifies continuity and the centuries-long historical experience of developing Belarusian statehood. It is our civic duty to know, honor, and strictly adhere to its provisions.
The Constitution of the Republic of Belarus has a distinct social focus – it is based not on abstract provisions, but on the real needs of each individual and society as a whole. It is the Basic Law that guarantees fundamental rights to free education and healthcare, social security for the elderly and disabled, and state protection both domestically and internationally, thus providing a solid foundation for stability and harmony in our society.
It's important to always remember that the Constitution is more than just a set of norms and principles, but the core that unites all Belarusians, reflecting simple and understandable values: justice, the traditional family, and historical truth. These time-tested convictions provide us with a solid foundation today to move forward boldly and confidently, building our independent future.
I wish you and your families good health, prosperity, new ideas, and achievements for the benefit of our native Belarus.
Happy holiday! Happy Constitution Day!
Vladimir KARANIK,
Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus
