A national competition for the award of scholarships of the President of the Republic of Belarus to talented young scientists for 2027 has been announced
In accordance with the Regulation on scholarships of the President of the Republic of Belarus for talented young scientists, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of March 5, 2026 No. 84 "On improving approaches to the provision of state support", a national competition is being held to award scholarships of the President of the Republic of Belarus to talented young scientists for 2027. Candidates who have achieved the best results in scientific, scientific-technical, and innovative activities are nominated for participation in the competition: doctors of science under 45, candidates of science under 35, and scientists without a degree under 30 (as of January 1, 2026). When nominating young scientists for participation in the competition, their achievements in priority areas of scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities, and their contribution to the social and economic development of the Republic of Belarus are taken into account.
Documents of applicants, filed in accordance with the established rules, are submitted in the following order: by May 20, 2026, an electronic version of the application materials must be sent to olga@presidium.bas-net.by for preliminary review and correction of comments; by June 1, 2026, documents signed by the head of the organization and filed in a folder are sent to the Department of Prizes, Scholarships, and Awards of the Main Directorate of Personnel and Personnel Policy of the NAS of Belarus at: Minsk, Independence Av., 66, office 317.
