Chinese-Belarusian conference on high-tech equipment production is being held at the Academy of Sciences
The event is attended by representatives of scientific organizations, universities, industrial enterprises, and government bodies from China and Belarus.
Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus, addressed the conference guests and participants with welcoming words. He noted that the conference serves as an important platform for strengthening scientific and technical cooperation, developing partnerships, and exploring new areas of collaboration in high-tech mechanical engineering and the production of modern equipment.
"The Academy of Sciences has successful experience of cooperation with China. I would particularly like to highlight the establishment of the joint laboratory 'Intelligent Sensing in Extreme Conditions' as part of the Belt and Road Initiative. This laboratory is a shining example of how scientific collaboration ecomes concrete results that have real significance for both countries and the entire global scientific community. We are confident that joint projects such as these will form the foundation for a long-term strategic partnership between Belarus and China," emphasized Vladimir Karanik.
Delegations from China Center for Scientific and Technological Exchange, Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences, and other scientific organizations and higher scientific institutions of China are visiting Minsk from June 11 to 18. Their program includes a series of meetings and negotiations, as well as participation in China-Belarus Conference.
