The NAS of Belarus signed four agreements with China on joint research
The opening ceremony of the China-Belarus Alliance for Mechanical Engineering Cooperation took place at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The event was part of the China-Belarus High-Tech Equipment Production Conference.
During the ceremony, the heads of the joint laboratories from the Chinese side officially signed an agreement to establish an alliance aimed at strengthening cooperation and developing innovative projects.
In addition, four important collaborative research agreements were signed during the conference.
The first of these concerns the development of highly efficient ultraviolet optoelectronic devices with tunnel transfer based on molecular beam epitaxy. The document was signed by Sergei Gaponenko and Jia Zhongqing, directors of B. Stepanov Institute of Physics of the NAS of Belarus and the Laser Research Institute of the Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences.
The second agreement is aimed at establishing and testing a center for the implementation of industrial robotics technologies in construction. It was signed by Oleg Yelov, Deputy Director General for Research and Innovation at the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the NAS of Belarus, and Tian Congfeng, a representative of Chinese Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.
The third agreement is devoted to the development of key technologies for an intelligent monitoring system designed for the operation and maintenance of interregional gas and oil pipelines. The document was signed by Oleg Yelov and Deputy Director of Shandong Provincial Laser Research Institute, Shang Ying.
The fourth agreement concerns the development of intelligent multidimensional control technologies for ultrafast mid-infrared lasers. It was signed by representatives of Belarusian National Technical University and the Institute of Laser Technology of Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences.
