The NAS of Belarus and Donghua University in Shanghai signed a memorandum of cooperation
The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and Donghua University (Shanghai, China) signed a memorandum of cooperation and partnership. The document was signed by Deputy Chairman of the NAS Presidium Alexei Trukhanov and Director of the University's Cooperation Department Liu Yanan.
According to the document, cooperation will be carried out through the implementation of joint scientific and technical projects in materials science, the chemistry of new materials, ICT, and biotechnology.
"This agreement opens up broad prospects for joint work and strengthening scientific ties between Belarus and China. The implementation of joint projects will not only improve the quality of research but also create the conditions for training highly qualified specialists capable of working effectively at the intersection of various scientific disciplines," said Alexey Trukhanov.
In addition to joint research, the memorandum provides for regular information exchange, participation of representatives of Belarus and China in international conferences, and training of specialists from both countries.
