Alexey Trukhanov took part in the Union State Biotechnology Forum
Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Alexei Trukhanov participated in the Union State Biotechnology Forum. The event was attended by representatives from government, business, the banking sector, and science.
Speaking at the forum, he emphasized the importance of integrating the efforts of Belarus and Russia to achieve breakthrough results in biotechnology. "Biotechnology is one of the most dynamic and promising sectors of the modern economy," said Alexey Trukhanov. "It's not just a scientific field, but also a powerful tool for addressing global challenges, ensuring the competitiveness of various sectors of the national economy."
It is worth noting that biotechnology has a huge impact on key areas of our lives, including food security, healthcare, the environment, and much more.
"All these areas are highly relevant both for the Union State and the entire world," emphasized Alexey Trukhanov. He also noted that CJSC “BNBC” is a shining example of the combination of large-scale production capacity and scientific potential to solve complex problems in the areas of genetic engineering, fermentation, extraction of target metabolites, and advanced processing of by-products.
The Union State Biotechnology Forum has become an important platform for exchanging experiences and identifying priority areas for further cooperation aimed at strengthening the scientific, technical, and economic potential of Belarus and Russia.
